With eco friendly homes the focus on design, modern contempory designs being the main form of construction in my area, I personally believe homes with character will not only stand the test of time they will become highly valuable and sought after, the same goes for large blocks of land, my childrens future will be based on urban development, fitting houses and units in small spaces to adapt to our growing population, sadly that is the future, so maybe that is why i'm drawn to one day living on a small property, to have a traditional looking home, wide verandahs and of course a beautiful garden.
